Is building a nursing home for poor elderly people in Bali aged 60 years and above. Who live alone with no family and no steady income to live by. We will provide them with eco friendly concept, activities, meditation room and provide organic food to make them happier and healthier. The needs of the senior citizens are considered and incorporated when we are building Taman Werdha Syailendra Bali which feature elderly - friendly facilities.

Fund Raising for the abandoned elderly.
To be able to take care more for our residents, we will at some time organize events or campaigns whose primary purpose is to raise money.
Events can include inviting the public to visit the home to see and buy our crops from our farm or gardens
Donators and well wishers may bring home a souvenir or handicrafts made by our residents.
Residents have a designated common area for gathering and interacting with other tenants and for sharingin-house activities like watching TV, games i.e.
Set on a land of 2500 sqmeter at a quiet area located at Gg Melon Jalan Uluwatu 1 off Jalan Raya Uluwatu near Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) area, it will house 48 tenants in the main 2-story building which is equipped with furnished rooms, each with bathroom and toilet and an elevator at lobby area to carry people or equipment to the second floor. CCTV in the corridors and public areas, fire detectors with alarm, wheelchairs for those who need them.
Separate smaller buildingsare dedicated for housekeeping, special care room, kitchen, recreation andactivities, main gate security etc.The remaining empty land will be used for gardening, farming and walk area.
Our services are geared for health and medical support, social and psychological needs for our residents as well as support for the caregivers. In other words we provide our residents with holistic elder care services and solutions.
We are purely a non profit organization. The qualified tenants will be chosen according to the criteria which we have mentioned above.
In our home, tenants do not have to pay, all will be taken care of by The Syailendra Foundation, but we certainly will welcome donations from generous people with open hands. Target completion is by end of 2018. Site inspections are welcome.

We have embarked on a major work completing the physical appearance of the main buildings and halls. Project workers are already on board, start work early morning and end before dusk, working around the area clearing shrouds, leveling the yards, mixing cements, building walls etc. and will continue completing this haven for unprevileged people who will be able to realize that life is still worth living.
Since the month of May 2018 we have started constructing the main bulding, a 4-story structure which is the future sleeping quarters of the tenants. This section will have 10 rooms, each for 3 persons. The rooms for another 16 persons will be completed at a later date which is located at a one-story building not far from this one. The target date for the completion of this home is end of this year
